B16 Swap questions

i am ready to buy my motor from hmo but i don't know witch one to buy. The complete changeover, or the Motor, Tranny, Computer one...? iam going to buy the hasport mounts and shift linkage, and i am wondering if i should buy the wiring harness, is it really that hard without it? and does anybody know if the motor comes with the correct axles? its going in a 88 DX Hatch.and is this site a good source for motors? thanks for your time...

Is what a good site for motors?! HAsport?

You want the 1st gen B16A, with the cable tranny and non-OBD computer. The wiring should be pretty straight forward.

nah siz, he's getting from hmotorsonline, yea get the whole changeover, they will send you the right ecu, the right axels, and unless you feel like running damn near a mile or so of wires through your car, get the damn harness.

us too

since you have a dx you need to upgrade to MPFI as well. the vtec part of it is actually easier than the MPFI

jer has been making quite a few harnesses lately. he could make you a MPFI & vtec harness
