Non-Lowered Blazer w/body kit...??

I have myself a 98 4WD Blazer...I plan on putting a body kit on the blazer but i do not plan on loweing the Blazer any at all. I will be getting myself some 18 inch rims also. Has anybody ever seen a blazer with a body kit on it that wasnt lowered? Do you guys think it will look stupid cause its not like slammed to the ground, or should it look decent just like a regular car with a lil diff body design to it. I dont wanna spend the money on the kit and everything and put it on if its gonna look like dootie...So let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

It WILL look a bit goofy...you could crank your torsion bars down a little bit and get block kit for the rear. I'm not sure why you don't want t lower it, but it will look better lowered.

Re: Non-Lowered Blazer w/body kit...??

I heard it wasnt good to lower a 4wd drive truck by the torsion bars cause of steering problems. I mean if i wants gonna have any problems at all with my steering and alignment then id do with a 2/3 drop cause i live in NY and theres a lot of potholes out here, so id also like some tire left with my rims and dont wanna bottom out everywhere. Is there like a torsion bar you can buy that just lower, so you dont have to mess with the stock one? I heard something about that but im not to sure what it was.

Re: Non-Lowered Blazer w/body kit...??

i'm looking in to lowering my 95 jimmy. so how ould i adjust the torsion bars? just tighten them or do they have to be cut? also how much faster will my front end wear out because of being lowered. i also found these clamps that go on the front springs that you compress to lower it.
