Ok people, I'm stumped here, I'm looking for some ideas, possibly someone has had a similar problem. This is what's happening: I have a 90 celica gt 5s-fe motor 5sp. On initial startup the engine starts hard, backfires, and is just generally ornery. after about thirty seconds runs fine- until it warms up. at a little under half on the temperature gauge, It will not idle, (If you three pedal it will run, just a little rough) once it fully warms up, it becomes intermittant The cooling fan is also always on, (sensors check out ok on meter) Tune up is ok, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, timing is ok, no blockage in intake, fuel pressure is good, dosen't lose spark, crank sensor has signal, I have signal output at the ignitor. I've even tried swapping out the ecu, to no avail. I'm running out of ideas, Hopefully someone on here will have some. I admit I may have missed something, maybe basic. I have access to Mitchell On Demand and Alldata, Scopes, meters, heck, just about every tester there is. I just don't know where to move next..
Any help would be greatly appreciated, BTW: car is 150,000 miles all stock, no mods if that helps Thanks in advance!!
