Question 1999 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight

What are some of the other 1999 Models that share the 1999 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight engine, body and electrical system?

Well, most of them having been RWD since the 80's, with the exception of the Impala, which hasn't been rwd since 1996. The only difference, which is small if there is one, will be the computer, which isn't a big deal if you have the computer from your car. I remember my buddy who works at a junkyard told me he could get me a low milage supercharged 3800 series with the tranny and computer for about $1500. Not a bad deal. it would take a little more effort to change it to the supercharged motor, because the body harness is a little different, but not much. You SHOULD be able to find a low milage motor out of one of these cars for relatively cheap at a yard. They are really a dime a dozen.
