Angry engine runs funny b/c alarm? help

I have a clifford intell 900 alarm system. It screwed up real bad and i couldnt even start my car because of the alarm. So i bypassed the wires so that now i cant start the car but i think the alarms hooked up some where still, because my lights will flash and my car starts idleing really high then will stop. It will go up to 2thousand somthing rpm then go to normal and then go up again. Sounds like a muscle car with a big cam. Im worried and i dont have the money to take it to a alarm guy. Can any one give me any tips or sites that can teach me how to completely dissarm the alarm disconnect? Thanks

GOTO www.directed.com and find the "guides" section then find your alarm. You can then download your install guide and it will show you what you need to know.

if you have an intellistart which is the clifford remote start module the tach wire may be grounding out. If you do have a remote start with this alarm system Look in your underdash and find the smaller black box labeled you guessed it intellistart. It should be connected to the alarm brain by way of thick wires with a plug inbetween the two black boxes disconnect this also disconnect the tach wire from the underhood. It should be hard to find just look at your firewall where they ran the wires through and trace them to the distributor , the fuel injectors , or a small blue plug that has two wires on it. Sorry this is a bit garbled but it is 4:20am... also take poncho's advice and get the install guide...
