I put a DYNOMAX Turbo muffler on my truck, which gives it a deeper tone. I've been happy with it. It's more of a straight through muffler which I guess would be less restrictive than the stock ones. Just my opinion.

Re: Ranger muffler help?

I would recommend for a 4 banger the flomaster 60 series. They dont nesacerily make a bolt in Kit for it, but if you do it yourself or have a muffler shop do it for you, it should work great. Go with 2" pipe all the way through if u can.

be careful not to make the piping too big... you'll lose your suction... also you may want to consider a glass pack. you can get one for like $20, and they sound pretty good.
