Should a 97 Limited 4X4 have more power than a 99 SR5 4X4? Both are V6
My sister has a 97 Limited and I've got a 99 SR5. They are both 4WD and I've driven them both and hers will dog mine. Whats up with that!!
Do I have a lemon? I mean there is a noticable difference in acceleration.

Both should be the same. Take yours in to a mechanic and have him check it out.

Maybe hers has a TRD Supercharger?

Supercharger?
I guess it's possible, but I didn't think they were very common so not likely.
OK, I'll bite. Check to see if the Limited has a fan belt pulley on the top of the engine, directly above the fan. That would explain it if it does. |
