Front Speaker Replacement

Hi, I am having a problem on my 1996 Honda Accord EX (4dr Sedan) trying to figure out how to get to the blasted speakers. I have seen some places that say to just remove the speaker grill, and it has a picture where the tabs are, but I cant seem to get the thing to budge. Another site said I needed to remove the door panel. I havnt yet tryied that though. I see only three screws, which doesnt seem like much to hold the panel on, and I dont know what all is behind the panel that I could mess up, so I thought I would post before I try anything else. What tips do you all have for me?

Re: Front Speaker Replacement

hey man...that is pretty easy.....take those screws out...there is another one on the door handle( the inside of the car...) that has a cover ...take the cover off then the screw....then disconect all the clips all around the panel by pulling ( carefull; don't want to snap something)..after that disconect the canon plugs from the window controlers and disconnect a little bar behind the door handle ( the one that actually opens up the door)then the panel should come rigth out(make sure to check everything before you pull the panel)...hey good luck and like i said be carefull and try not to break stuff......
