We have no drag tracks around here where I am. But I have timed my 0-100 Kph at 8,7 seconds. Not too bad for a auto tranny, stock SOHC ZC with only freeflow exhaust and highly modified keihin carbs.

You should be careful posting something like this here, the SOHC CARB'D ENGINE POLICE dont like posts about sohc carb'd honda engines. If they catch you they will sentence you to unending posts about B16 swaps, criticise your setup, and call you a lowballer...

Few years ago there was a guy who had a 4G4D, with a built ZC, with twin Webers, adjustable cam gears, headers, exhaust, you name it.

He was Dynoe'd at 137Kw at the wheels... The guy who helps me with my car in time of need helped with the development of that car. He said it was an awesome machine. Showed me pics too...

Alas, the car died sometime later...

Re: Post you Carb times!

I used to have a carbed rex. It was uber slow. But it was a 86 CRX Dx, and it was stock.

Personally I hate Carbs, my bike had them, and changing the fuel trim is too hard. I like my FI, where I just punch a couple buttons on a laptop or VAFC. Also carbs don't like boost much.

Whatever though, carbs have their place, on N/A race engines, unless you can go with ITBs...

Dont make fun. Some people just gotta deal with what they got, and whatever funds they have. Im sure if he had the money he'd have a decent setup with a 5-speed, but he does what he can. And civic_racer_dualcb, im not saying your some broke mofo, your just doin what you can.

Re: Post you Carb times!

I can spend more, but i see it as a waste of money spending vast amounts on FI and such on a 14 year old car worth $6000, if i wanted to spend some money, i would just get a loan and buy an eg/k vtec, then waste a lot on it.

No, I drive around normally until I get blipped by someone, then I race. And I usually win. If I only wanted to race, I would drive around in your car, redline it all the time, shunt the crap out of it and hand you back a useless B18 as an expensive paperweight. But because I do not race "all the time", which does not interest me, I drive around in my car which is good enough for me. I don't need a B18 with manual, turbo and NO2 to feel like a man.

I like auto, because I do lots of town driving. It also comes in handy while being blown. Above all, I will enjoy the auto most when I install my own NO2.

Besides, most of the guys who want to race me do not drive honda's they drive VW's, and those I beat easily...

Well, you seem to think anyone with a setup less than a B18, with manual box, turbo and nitrous is gay...

I may not have that, but I am not gay...
