|
Should I get another gauge or just order a boost gauge?
I am looking at getting my gauges and I can get a new Autometer Ultra Light boost gauge and EGT gauge for $125 shipped. Will the EGT help me though? I won't have anything to tune it with, so it would be pretty pointless huh? Should I just get a boost gauge for now and get another gauge later?

I believe you will need the EGT only when you are tuning A/F hardcore and need to watch it, if you are not, then it's just a safety gauge like oil pressure. They are usually pretty expensive compared to the deal you're getting.. so if you will need it later, get it now cheap, unless the deal is good for a while.

Yes i agree its a good deal i would get them. Isnt the Autometer EGT's like 2 bills?

I would get them both, its just like an added insurance policy. For example, If you are racing and you see that temperature drop at wide open throttle, you might want to abort the run.. The autometer guage is fairly expensive, for that deal I would definitly get both.
Mistsu eclipse95gst, I seen them new on ebay with the white faces for 117.95. In stores they are over 150.00 for sure.
