steering wheel

Well, I have posted before to no avail, but I have found something else that may help someone help me, I have noticed it happening when turning or when pressure is applied to the steering wheel( mostly pulling from top of steering wheel). As soon as I stop putting pressure on the steering wheel, the rattling goes away. It sounds like it coming from dash behind the speedometer in the column or something.

I have a similar problem with my car. Almost feels like something is loose and rattles. Doesn't do it when driving or even taking a gradual curve, generally when going slow or turning from a stop. From what I have read before, I recall it being the steering arm assembly. Don't know where or how to go about fixing, but I thought I would join you in the venture to try and get this fixed.

Re: steering wheel

I had a similar problem with my 2000 Tahoe. There was a slight popping sound coming from the stearing column while turning. I took it to a dealership and the lubed the stearing column assembly and I haven't heard the sound since. Not sure if this is the same problem.
