what would win in a race. there is one 90' civic hatchbacks, and a 95' civic SI. The 90' civic hatch has a JDM DOHC ZC motor. The 95' SI has the SOHC VTEC motor in it. Both of them are stock. If it was both the same driver who would win.

The 90 would win. It is lighter. The ZC has about 145 hp but no vtec. The 95 is a lil heavier and has a vtec but it only has about 126 hp

I wish my dohc zc had 145hp. Its more like 138 and some people say its as low as 130-135. But the 90 would definatley wim, its much lighter than the 127hp 95 civic/

i have a 88 4 door with a dohc zc and my buddy
has a 95 ex with a zc vtec (same as d16z6 but imported might have like 5 mor horses)
we both have i/h/e and i beat him by about a 1/2
of a car
