Plenty of people on this forum post the same question each day. Read back a few pages in the posts and you will get more answers. The basic hp upgrades are:
intake, downpipe, hi-flow cat, cat-back exhaust Also, tower strut bars will help you in your cornering |

Dude, he said he didn't have the money to make it a VR4. How bout helpin him out instead of sayin something stupid. Anyways Night, I got an SL too and one thing I noticed that helps out a lot is an LSD. It gives you a better launch and more traction. A lighter flywheel is also an option, as the less rotating mass you have, the better. Or you could just go with I/H/E, but because of the dual exhaust on our cars, be ready to pay quite a bit for performance exhaust. If you want some free horse, you could just gut your catback. I think that's illegal though, but here in Canada no one ever checks. Oh, and an underdrive pulley will free up about 12 horse. It could kinda take it's toll on your engine though in time. Well, good luck with it. All you really need is about 40-50 more horse to be pretty quick.
