Question Location of Engine Coolant Heater?

Hey,

I'm a bit on the useless side with cards, and went out and bought an extension cord to plug the car in tonight(it's freezing here), but couldn't find the plug under the hood to connect it to! There's no electrical cord that I can see under there..the manual says "Open the hood, unwrap the cord, then plug it in." Not too specific, and I really checked everywhere and as far as I know the car does have a block heater.

Any suggestions of where I can look? There seemed to be a car up front on the right connected to the battery that was wrapped up, but one end of it connected to the battery and the other end connected to something else down in the middle, so that can't be it can it?

Thanks for any help!

some cars do not have the option from the dealer to come with block heaters, and if it did when it was new, the owner before you may have had a problem with it and had taken it out. if you do have a heater in your car, the cord is most likely to be shoved in the grille of the car or behind a headlight.
