Wiring harness Question

Ok, my buddy's do swaps all the time and he has his d16a6 from his 91 Civic Si that he wants to sell me, because he just finished his b18 tubo swap. The thing is he has everything for the swap.

I always thought that I need to do mpfi swap, but with my std wiring harness. He said that I can use the Si harness on my car instead. The only thing I need to do this, is to get the dash harness to go with it. Is this true?? He was confusing me. He said I can use any wiring harness as long as I have the dash harness also.

Someone help me

Re: Wiring harness Question

yeah that will work im pretty sure, but you need the harness from your sub generation, ex 88-89 harness or 90-91 harness cause of the gauge clusters, but you heed the whold harness and it is much cheaper and easier to just modify the std one to work with mpfi, its not too hard!
