Dash Lights/Tail Lights dead

HELP!!
I have a 1990 Buick Century. The dash lights and tail lights went the other day. I don't find a dash/tail lamp fuse in the fuse box (in glove box). I've checked all the fuses in there and they all look good. I pulled the one marked cig/horn while the car was running and the car died. But the horn still worked. Brake lights and blinkers work. Is the dash/tail lamp fuse someplace else? Directions (owners manual) make no note of it. Or do I have a short?

Have you in the past year replaced one of your tail lights?

If you have done so remove your tail light assembly and look real close around where the studs stick out for pinched and bare wires. I have fixed many with shorted wires there.

Thanks, I can't say. I got the car this past summer. One lense is broken (hole in it). I'll check.

FWIW,
Chceked the wires, they were fine. Sent it to the shop. The switch was bad.

Yup, bad switch. Same symptoms on my car, so I checked out the switch. Part of it had melted

How much did it cost to get that switch replaced?
