water in trunk
Hi all,
Anyone have advice about what to look for when water pools up in the spare tire well? This is a 94 integra. Thanks, Ren ps, Dunno if there is something up with the forum search engine, but it returns the message 'search term is under three words..' no matter what search term I try.. |

Re: water in trunk
check the seals around your taillights and also check your whether stripping around your hatch. Civics are notorious for having leaky taillights, hopefully this isn't the beginning for Integras.

Re: Re: water in trunk
check the drain hoses that keep water from running into your trunk. they may be clogged or have a hole or they could even just be moved around to drain in the wrong place.

i actually had this problem once sorta i left my moonroof open all night and it stormed really bad. So the water evaporated then laid at the lowest point which was the spare tire well i just drilled a small hole in the bottom of the spare tire well. This will also fix headlamps that have condensation in them. drill a small hole in the bottom...

wash the car...
I have the same problem. what I did was take everything out of the trunk and get the hose. I ran water over different parts of the car and checked inside the trunk each time. I found it was my bumbercover. the clip on the driverside was messed up and hte water was seeping in that way.
Try that if you haven't already fixed the problem. krs |
