Jada Toys/DUB City/Import Racer Collectors

Everyone, I am a collector of anything & everything Jada. I maintain the news section on http://www.collectablediecast.com . I've had to opportunity to visit the Design Team @ Jada Toys and was invited to preview their booth @ the 2004 Los Angeles Auto Show. I have some photos posted up of some of the products that will be released this year. Feel free to check them out. Hopefully, I will be able to help you guys with any Jada related questions you may have. Here's a teaser photo.

Do you know if there are any plans for making a 1:18 RX-7? I just picked up their 1:64 and 1:24 RX-7's. They are impressive. The body is very accurate compaired to recent offerings from Muscle Machines and Ertl. Would love to see this in 1:18 form Jada!

That 1:18 350Z looks really nice, by the way!

hey nobueno!

Thats sweet as ur a bit of a 'rep' for Jada in a way....i like the collectors diecast...i have bought my 1:10 RX8 R/C from there...allll the way to Australia! fun fun...

Do you know what other import cars they are going to make in the future? 200/180SX?? Skylines? S2000?

Also, is there anyway to replace the wheels on the R/C car? or can u just use 1/10 R/C wheels from say a hobby shop to replace?

Thanks!

Yes, More Imports!

There will definately be more imports. Due in the next week are the EVO8, Skyline & the 350Z. There will be an S14, WRX Sti and some other ones I am not able to speak about just yet.. As far as the RX7 in 1/18, I have not heard but I'm sure it will be produced since all of the other imports are slated to come in 1/64, 1/24 and 1/18. I have a good relationship with the Marketing team as well as the design team so I get to see & hear about things before most people even their distributors. I am a collector not a dealer. Collectablediecast.com gives me space to share the info I have. Jae

Re: Re: Jada Toys/DUB City/Import Racer Collectors

Can someone please get me a measurement on the 1:18 Supra, the 1:18 EXT, and the 1:18 Denali? I'm looking to see how their scale is. I know they're a little off scale but I'd like some measurements to work with.

I got the 1:64 scale RX-7's at Target, the 1:24's I bought on Ebay:

Same seller as above links. Shipped very quickly, I would recomend.

The new 1:24 scale 350Z looks pretty good too, might have to pick one up:
