I don't know a thing about this car!

Hey!
I just inherited a USDM 1.6L FWD 323. I believe they have like 80HP. Could this be a gem in the rough? I know most you guys are talking about the the AWD Non-USDM in these FORUMS... please don't bludgeon me! Bear with me! Anyhow, I was wondering if these could be modified at all and if so, where can I get the parts. Can an AWD system be swapped easily? Were there ever FWD's in Rally-Sports? I really don't know anything about this car! Is it rally worthy? If it's worth keeping around I just might use it for my new-found hobby (rally) or sell it! Any help would be appreciated!
