flex fan and radio problem

has anyone used a fiberglass or stainless steel flex fan to replace stock fan?? used one many years ago on my scout II 4 banger it was great. radio question 1997 blazer radio package "U1C" i belive the part number is 16211095 i dont think it is a bose system face plate say delco no sound out of both rear door speakers dealer says may be an amp on door speakers if bose may be a seperate smp in dash check fuses does anybody know where the fuses may be or any other suggestion before i tear into it thanks
