engine size

i am thinking of buying a 91 civic si hatchback, does this already have a b16a engine? if not what does it have, it is a stock vehicle

no they are a stock engine d16 there a piece of shit. the only way to get a b16 is to buy it or get CIVIC SI

wow your wrong very wrong in fact. US civic/CRX SI d16 JDM SI ZC so what SI had a B16 stock? umm hum ummm hum. SIR had b16 and SIRs never made it to the US. and to fit a b16 in a SI or any model need a bolt in kit.

b16's never came stock on any si's? are you sure what about some of the newer ones not the one's with i-vtec's the sedans.

omg i-vtec only is on a k series engine and in the usa its in rsxs, tsx, and accords. THere is no such thing as a b16a i-vtec. si's in japan had dohc zcs, and SiR's had the b16a. You will NEVER find a b16 in an si unless its a sir with the r broken off the emblem, or somone that put it in a si.
