Angry ABS Sensitivity

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to adjust the sensitivity of ABS system. I have a 2001 LS. The system releases the brakes WAY too early. Has almost got me into a few wrecks. I have currently disabled the system but would like to get it to work. Thanks

ABS problems

I've had the same ABS problems with my 2001 LS. Jonjonwells - how did you disable the system? I'd like to do the same thing for the time being.

ABS system will activate much too early. All I did to disable is to pull the fuse under the hood. You end up with both you Brake and ABS dummy lights lit, but I havn't rearended anyone.

Re: ABS Sensitivity

is problem when u slow to about 5mph u feel a brake pedal surge or drop if so usually 1 or both front speed sensors will be faulty or have rust built up between sensor and hubbearing causing a incorrect reading to ebcm which causes a abs cycle or pedal drop
