Just turn off the memory

I recently purchased a 99 Limited, and mine was doing that also. My cure was to shut off the memory using the overhead digital display thingy. My wife and I have to adjust things when we get in, but at least we don't have to re adjust things, everytime we open the car with the remote. Mine is tied in to the remote, and everytime you leave the car, and then re open it with the remote, the mirrors and seat would get messed up. So all I did, was shut off the memory, that was tied in with the remote. I believe the option will come up, as you scroll through the menu.

Re: mirror memory

I have the same problem with my 99 Limited. I asked a dealer and he said that I probably just didn't program it right, but I tried about 10 times. I have not been able to figure it out, and I think I'll just turn off the memory seats and mirrors like Bill suggested.

Re: mirror memory

I too have had this problem. And I also did exactly what Bill and vballboarder did. If anyone figures out what the cause is, would you please post it here?

Thanks!

Re: mirror memory

You probably need new mirrors. They have position sensors in so they know where they are and something always goes bad.Replacing the mirrors usually fixes it but I don't think its worth the money.
