Any owners of V70 Bi-Fuel model out there?

Regardless Euro or US specs.

I would love to hear their opinions and owners insights/experiences.

Well, once a while I place what fuels my interest and as with any post, some tend to be more appealing then others for general attention.

By the way the substance and reason for your comment is referred in psychiatry and commonly known as passive aggressive state of being.

Try to enjoy more life and release all this anger and hate, people will smile more at you.

Re: Bi-Fuel owners

i know.

PS Bi fuel has been around for ages. I seen plenty of gas powered volvo's in sweden
never met anyone who uses it.
Popular in some places because of location and availablilty though the monatary advantages of using gas will only been seen in places such as the UK for a short period should more and more people switch to gas. This will result in the government slapping bigger duties on it.
As it is they could save a lot of air polution if they solved traffic jams. If traffic flowed quicker and smoother then people would be in cars for shorter periods of time.

Steven Hawkin also said that car's will most likely be powered by petroleum for a long time to come but most likely become more efficient in producing power.

The perfect otto cycle is 32% efficient the real efficiency is less meaning to improve efficiency i agree with the toyota prius idea

Well, from historical perspective people wanted since first day of cars to employ gas instead of petrol.

The only problems was...everyone was faced with problem : Petrol is easy to transport by boat, while gas is dangerous and unpredictable,

They simply didn't know-how to transport gas in those days.

This fact is often repeated in today's literature reflecting fact why gas failed to enter where petrol is today.

As for usage, you would have hard time finding a Taxi in Japan that is not using LPG or CNG. More and more in 100.000's in Germany,UK,France, Almost 500.000 in Italy.

Italy has best know-how in the world about gas technology for car with latest Fly Sequent tech (BRC)

And Prius is magic and my next car, sadly it is coming so late in Europe, but OK, it is because of great demand, that means more Prius drivers. To that I shall not complain
