Top speeds

Ok...i want to know what a stock 97-99 gsx top speed is?Then whats the top speed with...about 400 hp or more?Or whats the fastest you have gone with your gsx?

I know it does go more then 130.. Cause my boyfriends has a 97 gs and it does 135mph.. and that is stock..

I don't believe that your boyfriend's GS can go 135 stock. Sorry.

For reference, the 420A in my old neon was supposed to be 132hp and it did 117 with a little left in it.. so id estimate 120. GS with 140hp wont beat that by much.

its got a speed limiter too 130... maybe if you are on a steep hill with the wind is pushing you, you might be able to hit 135!

well i hate to break all your guys hearts but i was in the car when it happened.. I am not saying it got there fast or that the car was not almost redlining all I am saying is that it did do 135mph.. took awhile but it did.. and no there was no hills involved we where on the nys thurway on a straight away. So you may want to believe me you may not.. that is totally up to you.. All i know is what i saw..

Sorry I do not have your habits.. I was totally clean.. since the car was used when we purchased it not sure if there was the governer override in it or not.. But I know it did do 135mph.. And let me just let you know Just cause i am a girl does not mean i do not know my shitz.. I was brought up fixing cars and pulling engines out.. and making them fast. My father was a race car driver and mechanic.. my fist car i could not drive it till i took the engine out and rebuild it..
