95 T-bird help

I have a 95 v6 non-supercharged T-bird. I was wondering, is there any modifications aside from an engine swap that could give me a little more get up and go?

Also, what good does it do to remove the air silencer, does it make that much difference? Wouldn't it just dirty your air cleaner faster?

Re: 95 T-bird help

you can get a chip, get the cam regrinded, port and polish the heads, and swap to 96/97 headers. that'll give you a bit of a boost.

the air silencer will give a slight boost as well. as for dirtying the air filter faster? not much.
here's a how-to on the air silencer: http://www.njtacc.com/tech/air_silencer.html
