1999 Suburban --NEED HELP removing Steering wheel casing/ignition switch
Knocked into wiper/blinker handle which essentially broke at base. Need to epoxy temporarily until we can get part to replace. How do you remove the upper/lower casing on the steering column to reach broken part? (also how do you remove ignition switch ) HELP !!!

I like to do my own work as much as I can, but with the airbag system involved, I'd take it to a dealer for the repairs.

Please don't attempt if you do not have any knowledge on airbags.Leave it to qualified technicians.Steering columns can be a pain unless you know how they come apart. An even bigger pain trying to put back together.
