Replacing Headlights and Fogs...Easy?
Just wondering if it is easy to replace the headlamps as well as the fog lights for my 2002 GTP. I want to put Silverstars in there, but don't want to have to do crazy amounts of work. The headlights look easy enough (the adjusting may be tough), but I can't figure out how to get to the fog lights. Any comments are welcomed!

Headlight are very easy. There are 2 screws holding the headlight in, just undo the screws and wiggle the headlight out. Remove stock bulb replace w/ silverstars. The headlight has 2 taps on it that have to be inserted into slots on the car. Should take bout 10 min tops.
Fogs: Drive the car up on ramps or jack it up. Look under at the back of the fog light housing. there is a thumb screw used for adjusting and 1 screw/ a nut on each side of that. Simply remove the nuts and fog light will come out. I recommend going w/ the Blazertech 3200's or 2200's and getting the mounting brackets sold by MSP. |

What the Ripn12s is telling you is correct. In my case to replace the fogs I just climbed the car on the corner of the sidwalk. Do not like the ramps tha much

Thanks...I'm off to give it a shot. I think I'm just sticking with the Silverstars for both though...don't want one brighter than the other...think that would look funny.
Thanks for the suggestion on the sidewalk! Never would have thought of that. |
