State Inspection failed my old 240sx :((((
Just took my car for a State Inspection and failed.
The Vehicle inspection report came out showing HC(PPM) = 533 and CO(%)=7.53 both at 15mph. Any ideas what that means and what I should do. |

Get the fuel system flushed, check the cat, bring the car in after driving it around for maybe half an hour?

it seems as though you couldn't pass smog(correct me if i am wrong). I hear changing the spark plugs and doing a oil change helps. Just a rumor i heard.

Also, I did the spark plugs and the oil before taking it in. |

Do you think a catalytic converter will do the trick?

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Attention everyone form Houston Texas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
People with expired inspection stickers are now been arrested and taken to jail by cops. A friend of mine who works for the city told me that today (Friday) three people where arrested and taken into custody. Apparently cops are not giving tickets for that anymore. |
