Re: Which one to get (battery)

I just picked up an Optima battery for my civic after my original was killed recently, and this thing is great. Get the yellow deep cycle battery. You can find the model battery you need here, but you will probably find it for much cheaper on eBay, just do a search for "optima yellow", and that should work.

Re: Which one to get (battery)

If you can fit a larger than normal battery, get the really big deep cycle. It has a lot more Cold Cranking Amps. I'm looking into adding a second battery for my stereo amps so my meadlights don't dim. Yours dim for 2 seconds you said... try having them blink everytime the bass hits! I'm gonna get the biggest Deep Cycle I can find. Optima has one for about 170 that has 950 CCAs I believe. With Deep Cycle Batteries, they are better for heavy current drawls (for lighting, stereos, or fans), but if its your primary starting battery, it will need a little more CCAs than a standard battery to get starting done efficiently. Hope this helps a little.
