He just needs some corner blinkers... or to shave them entirely... like the side molding... Very nice... is that primer or is that the color you're going to keep it?

yeah i have corners for it I just lost the bolts for it when I painted it and have not felt like going to the hardware store to get the bolts. I am not really going to do any body changes cause I am really wanting to keep it creeper style.
The car is going to stay black primer. I still have a few spots to touch up on the doors where I filled in the side moldings on the doors. Really all I want to do apperance wise is get the windows tinted and put some rims on it. For the motor I am planning on doing a motor swap once tax return comes around.

Re: Pics of my ride.
I think some rear door handles on the front doors would compliment the shaved mouldings nicely.

Re: Pics of my ride.
fo shizzle on the rear handles up front!!!!
Can you shave the mouldings on the bumpers too? Might take alot of work, but it would match the sides nice ![]() Ditch the shiney wipers and windshield trim.

To do the moldings I just started with fiberglass/bondo and just filled them in. It took 1 coat of fiberglass and about 7 or 8 coats of bondo. and a WHOLE lot of sanding. Also I only put one coat of primer. I only had a few hours a night to work on it so once spring gets here I am gonna go back and clean it all up. Hope fully by then I will have my swap and wheels.
Yeah the door handles would look nice molded as well. Thanks for the ideas. Peace, MarkD

Looks like a good place to start, but I personally would not leave the car painted with black primer. Even if it takes awhile to save the money, get it painted eventually. It's actually not that hard to learn to do it yourself. CRX Resource has some great threads about DIY painting. Primer is understandable as a temporary cover-up, but as a permenant coat, it's a bit ridiculous, IMO.
