someone double check

alright heres the deal, i just got some money from insurance and selling my car sterio so i have about $1400 to spend on performance after gettin my car fixed. i have a list of parts and a plan but i dont know prolly nearly enough to be doin what im doing.... so i just need you guys to check my part list... i have i/h/e -Apexi v-afc--and im getting - skunk2 or crower stage 2 cams- valve springs/valves- cam gears- fuel rail - fuel pressure regulator - underdrive pulleys - clutch.... anything else i will need... mostly haveing to do with the cams since they will be the most major mod....i shouldnt have to replace my stock retainers should i? and my buddy is dyno tunning my car once everything is done if that makes a difference. i shouldnt need a upgraded fuel managment system after all that should i??? oh and i have a 97 gsr ....

Re: someone double check

my opinion...I think the underdrive pulleys are a waste of money along with the fuel rail. The stock fuel rails on our cars can handle up to 350 hp easy. I'd go with the crower 403 cams and while you're upgrade your vavletrain might as well get titainum retainers. I don't think you'll have enough money for the clutch, especially if you take all of this to a shop. You'll pay 300 just for labor, or more! I'd go with the B&M FPR also...much cheaper and just as worthy as the AEM one. Good luck!!
