Fuel Regulator noise
We're new owners of a 1986 325es.
We've traked a funny noise to (I think) the fuel pressure regulator. Sounds like a spring letting go every 2-6 seconds. Is this normal? Is it a sign of impending failure of this part? You can hear it inside the car with the windows up, while at idle or low speed. thanks, tomk
