rsx vs. celica gt-s

yeah a rsx type s wil smoke a gts . I know this because iv'e smoked a couple of them.

I don't think any of the eclipses are 4wd. I could be wrong, though. The gts has 210hp and weighs 3241 lbs. The typeS has 200hp and weighs 2778 lbs. I think the extra 463 lbs might slow the gts down!

I wouldn't recommend an eclipse. I've heard alot of bad things about the turbo for the 4cyl. The dealer told me that they mark down the eclipses alot when people are trading them because of the turbo. Don't know what the problem is since I don't own one or know anyone that does.

A GTS wil own a RSX and a rsx-s is mainly a drivers race. And for that dumb mofo a celica gts dose now way anywhere nere 3400lbs do u research dumass. there around 2500 give or take 100. and stock gts have been known to take a couple stock rsx-s. drivers race w/rsx having a slight sdvantage.

I guess some people can't read or use proper language, for that matter. Please read my post again, if you can. I was commenting on the ECLIPSE GTS, NOT CELICA GTS. Of course, if you knew about cars, you'd know that there are more than one brand of GTS! Also, if you're going to call me names, at least spell DUMBASS correctly! I really don't appreciate ignorant people calling me names when they don't even take the time to read.

A very informative post about the CELICA GTS vs. other cars.

Please note that this guy actually owns a CELICA GTS and, I quote, "THE ACURA RSX TYPE -S....2.0 liter 200HP engine ( this car pulled slightly from the line, but it seemed like when he hit 5000 rpms his i-VTEC kicked in and my VVTL-i didn't kick in until about 6000rpm and not fully until 6200rpm...so his car did beat me three times in a row, still a very close race about 5 feet in front of me at 80mph, and 10 feet further at 120mph, when i finally gave up...LOL..."

So how does being 5 ft behind a TYPE-S at 80 mph and 10 ft away at 120 mph beat a TYPE-S??? I guess alot of people that own the CELICA GTS can are wrong in your opinion too, hey?

The rsx would smoke a celica gts, cougar, eclipse, and maybe a talon tsi turbo. I have a 95 h22a vtec prelude(205hp stock), and i beat all those cars no problem except that i never raced the talon.

the eclipse and the talon are the same cars... so why would it smoke the eclipse but maybe be the talon?

All I was trying to say was that a RSX-S would not punish a GTS. Its a DRIVERS RACE. U Acura/Honda drivers r such asses. Sure the rsx has a slight advantage good for them. But its been known 4 a couple of GTS to take RSX-S.

and to that one GTS/GTS he should classify more. not my problem urs.

Because, genius the talon comes with 220 hp turbo with a 4 cylinder, the eclipse is a v6 with 200 some odd horses
