" Bolt on Jeeps " ?? Every Jeep is a bolt on Jeep my arrogant friend. We all modify & drive our Jeeps according to our individual driving habbits, preferences and budgets. The main point is we all love our Jeeps and small troubles are just as bad as big ones. Most of us drive our jeeps every day, back & forth to work as well as weekend jaunts into the wild. Rock Crawling is YOUR preference and that's ok but don't put anyone else down just because they prefer things a little tamer. Perhaps you need a different forum.

I understand budget. I'm young and all my mods were done with little money for only parts. Not all jeeps are Bolt-on! you show me a quarter elipictcal suspension thats a bolt on kit and I'll eat my words. This post wasn't meant as a flame in the first place. Every post is usally about "I gotta squeak" I was asking about tech discussions like "Fighting Anti squat or axle wrap solutions". My jeep is also a daily driver and mud bog and dersert run and trail ride AND Rockcrawl and yes offroad is my preference and by no means do I put anybody down who do any of these.

Eat your words.. I cant remember the company, but there is one out there that makes a bolt on 1/4 elliptic kit for the yj's and CJ's. Its a bolt on cross member than contains the lower links and spring packs. There are also bolt on coilover kits for YJ's and CJ's. and no its not the warn kit. Its from shaffer offroad in carson city. You wont find much hardcore rockcrawling on a automotive forum. You need to find a forum that is based around rockcrawling. Do a search, and you might find it.

Its been a while since i seen the write up on it, personaly me, id go with the coil kit from Shaffer's Offroad.. Real nice design and a lot more street worthy when you need to hit the road, plus they are some world class fabricators.. you should see what they are doing right now. They are trying to finish 4 rigs for the uroc competiton coming up.. 4 rigs in 15 days.. its amazing to watch them work (live webcam)
