95 RS RIMS Question

I got a 95 RS-t (hahn stage 1), I bought some 18"x7.5 Adr Spade 5 lug rims to go with it. I was told it will fit my car and all, but now my dad says they wont fit. According to the manual and whatever it goes up to 16"x6.

Do I need to do any cutting or whatever to fit these on? Will it be a problem when driving?

Thanks

Re: 95 RS RIMS Question

You're dad... is wrong. Sorry. You can fit 19's on an eclipse. As long as the bolt pattern is right, your 18's should fit fine. The worst thing that wil happen is you might rub your suspension a touch, depending on your offset. But you should be fine. easiest way to find out.. is to put them on! good luck

That is what I thought, he said because the width (7.5 inches) is too large for the back but I dunno, I will probably take it to a shop and see for myself.

The rims are 42 offset too.

Post your opinions.

Re: 95 RS RIMS Question

I have 18x8.5 konig imagines on mine. with a 40mm offset and they fit fine. You should be more than good with 7.5 So don't worry. slap those things on a post a pic!

Re: 95 RS RIMS Question

I fitted an ADR Sokudo 18" with 45 offset on my Eclipse 96 RS, and it looked awesome. Don't forget to lower your car, I have Tokico's shocks and springs fitted and lowered 1.8", they look so pimping now, so much better than before it was lowered. Just a suggestion.
