What's your favorite "veteran" or "edwardian" (Brass era?) car?

Here's my favorite: The Cadillac Model A.


These had a mid mounted 1.6 liter single cylinder engine, and sold for $750.

Here's another A, hauling 12 (twelve!) people uphill! In the early days, hill climbing power was huge selling point.

So what's your favorite pre world war 1 car?

As a sports car enthusiast, I can choose from a few cars that fall into that category built before WWI: the Vauxhall 'Prince Henry', the Hispanso-Suiza 'Alfonso', the Mercer Raceabout and the Stutz Breadcat. I guess if I had to choose only one, it would be the Mercer.

I left off the Packard Grey Wolf, as desirable as that might be, due to its being a racing car.

Aha!, named after the rare mountain breadcat, which is known for it's golden brown flaky crust...

The Mercer owners would say to Stutz drivers:
"You've got to be nuts to drive a Stutz."
Stutz owners would come back with:
"Never was there a car worser than a Mercer!"
