tokico suspension kits any good?

I would like to lower my 97 Maxima and I looked at this page:
http://www.custommaxima.com/TokicoKits.php
Do you think getting the HP series suspension kit (containing 4 Performance Lowering Springs and 4 Tokico HP struts) for $449 would be good? Is that all I would need for lowering my car and does anyone know if custommaxima is a good place to buy from? Also how much would you guess a body shop would do the installation for?

this is the perfect link for U.
there is even a write up if you want to do the install yourself.. good luck and let us know what you will go for.. i am too in the process of looking for a suspension setup.

i've bought a couple of things from custommaxima and they were very good.

Thank you guys for your replies. I might go illuminas with maybe H&R springs. The only thing is I don't know whether I should do performance first or handling first. My Maxima only has an intake right now and I would like to buy a ypipe and catback for it, but at the same time I hate the handling and gaps in between the wheel wells that my maxima has right now. I can only do one or the other. What would you do?

Re: tokico suspension kits any good?

I lowered mine first, and I'm so glad I did. It might not be the fastest, but it handles and looks a whole lot better. I hated looking at the 4x4 gap.

I did Performance first and am saving money right now for the suspension. I guess if you want, you can save a lot of money and do it all at one time.
