93 Escort Issues
I have a 93 Ford Escort that doesn't start. The engine won't even try to turn over. It just clicks and clicks. New starter battery is good. Lights all work interior lights work but it still just clicks when I turn the key. Replaced the relay stillsame problems. Help. Oh and hte engine is a 1.9

I would check for a bad cable. A cable with a break and/or corrosion will do exactly what you describe. It will allow enough power through to run all the lights, but not enough to run the starter. I had the same problem once and found the bad cable by bypassing the cable with a set of jumper cables. Just be aware that when you bypass the positive cable to the starter, you don't run yourself over. Or short out against a ground. Start with the ground cable first. You may have to drop the starter to check the positive cable without accidentally shorting your jumper.
