In the potential for power output, there is no contreversy whatsoever, turbo will make more power, period.

turbo will produce the most power, then SC, then NA, however the NA motor will last prolly twice as long as either forced induction motor.

Re: A Contraversial Issue!

i like turbo cars a superchager is nice because there really isnt any lag if you have the right set up. n/a are more reliable like said above but cost more money to make as fast as a car with perhaps a turbo or any F/I i myself like turbos the best though...

Re: A Contraversial Issue!

well, there was a little research done on this and of the three setups, they ranked like this.
1. highest boost = turbo
2. quickest boost = s/c
3. most reliable = NA
but remember, there are not that many NA daily drivers that can beat a FI.

how about quad turbos, twin superchargers, & nitrous? Like the semi's use that run the 1/4 mile & land speed . . .

If it's built to run real times it won't last that long. Most fully built N/A motors are very high maintaince.

Nobody flames for a single misspelled word. Mistakes happen. If someone's post is unintelligible, that's another matter, but in this case, substance over form.
