H22A Boring or Re-sleeving

Hey guys, whats up....ok my question is my friend is planning on keeping his 01 lude n/a and wants to know what kinda of hp and cost his is lookin at if he bores or resleeves his block and cylinder head.....with puttin in new rods, pistons, and cams....thnks for ur time

When you say boring or re-sleeving it doesn't make sense. Punching it out .020 or whatever is gonna weaken the cylinder walls if that's what your asking, but not a lot. Sleeving the block is gonna make the cylinder walls stronger.

As far as pistons and rods, my CP pistons and Crower pro-billet rods cost me 1,300.00+. That's for boosting though and his rods don't have to be that strong. He's probably looking at around a grand though.

Cams is a different story. All depends on how much he wants to spend, the price range is fairly large.
