I Am Trying To Replace My Fuel Filter. You Need A Special Tool Which I Have Purchased. It Is Some Type Of Plastic And I Found That It Can Be A Pain In The Ass. I Slipped It Over The Line And From There I Cannot Get The Line Disconnected. I Am Assuming That You Have To Push It Into The Coupling Like Fuel Line To Get It To Come Apart. Any Suggestions Would Be Greatly Appreciated Because I Cannot Work This Tool Right

Re: DESPERATE fuel line removal tool
I used a piece of sheet steal, bent it around the fuel line and shoved it into the coupling and it came apart. Make sure you let the pressure off at the fuel rail before you disconnect the filter.

Re: DESPERATE fuel line removal tool
There is a little trick. Push the fuel line in at the same time as you push in the plastic. Then pull the fuel line out. It is in an inconvienient spot and I use the side of a pliars to push the plastic piece in. If I remember, there are two plastic pieces that will fit in and only one that will work.
