Intercooler question...

I am looking into a spearco 27.5x12x3 fmic. I will be running a ported evo 16g. How much modification will I have to do to my front bumper to get it to fit? and will it effect any other cooling in my engine since it's so big. Any comments are welcomed. Thanks in advance

Re: Intercooler question...

Thats actually pretty thin. Most DSM cores will be 3.5". Its the thickness that determins how much cutting you have to do, not the length and height (12" is max for 2g though if you want to keep your headlights )

You'll want to douche the inner bumper altogether if you are ina hurry (it can be kept with more cutting), and cutting the plastic bumper cover is easy enough. The tough part isnt how much material to take out, but how to cut it in a way that wont make it look all hacked up
