what the hell?

Ok so im on the freeway at bout midnight, when this eclipse comes up fast on me, passes me, then slows down. Wing, euros, the usual. I get the impression he wants to race, so im game. I pull up along side him and rev. He gives a rev back. Were doing about 80 with no one in front of us. Then alova a sudden he drops back like 5 car lengths behind me and gets in my lane. I didnt even downshift or begin to accelerate. Almost like he e-braked or something, it was not a gradual drop back. I looked for cops but didnt see any.

So is this some kinda new race ritual im not aware of or somethin? If he wanted to switch lanes he coulda easily went in front a me.
Or maybe he couldnt handle the VTEC under my hood?

It was an overexcited nascar fan practicing the latest import trend-Drafting! Screw drifting, this is far more trendier than a 1/4 mile or taking the curves! Plus you get better gas mileage!

Maybe he wanted you to take off and he'd race behind you..... A CRX did that to me today, I was pulling on him in 4th till a slow ass(like 65 in the fast lane) got in the way.

...a braking race...
