Re: Tires

I run two dedicated sets, one for summer, 225/45/ZR17 Goodyear EAGLE F1 GS-D3's and a set of 205/55/VR16 Dunlop Winter Sports M3's from Oct/Nov til Apr/May.
The EAGLE F1's are an awesome tire. Lots of grip, dry or wet, good for handling.
The M3's work well in the snow and ice here in Michigan.
I only expect to get about 3 seasons max out of either set of tires, but that is to be expected with high performance tires.

Hey, the 225/45/zr17's, how off is your speedometer and how does the car respond to cornering in contrast to the 205/55's? Also, how much did u pay for your tires and do the tires expand past the fenders, i mean do they stick out or do they have a nice tucked flushed look when viewed from the back???

Cornering is much improved and the tires are only .09" different in size (stock diameter 24.88" aftermarket diameter 24.97") speedometer reading is neglegible. They are mounted on 17"X7.5" Kosei Racing K1's with a 45mm offset. The tires are inside the wheel wells. The stock rims are 16"X6.5" with a 45mm offset. Paid 153.00USD per tire. Rims and tires came to just under $1300.00 with shipping.
