B16 Or Zc Engine Is It Hard To Put A Engine In A 1990 Crx --dx-- How Hard
IS IT HARD 2 PUT A ENGINE IN A 1990 CRX DX- THIS IS A DX WONT IT BE HARD FOR A SWAP DONT U HAVE TO CONVERT EVERYTHING? EMAIL ME AT [email protected] THANKU

t if you go with zc, because its a d series motor, all you have to do is convert the dx to si wiring harness...... if you go with b16 yes you have to get the ecu, mounts, wiring, tranny,intermittenent shaft, axles, shift linkage. thats mainly it, and dont forget to run extra wires for vtec, knock sensor,and covert to 4 wire o2 sensor

Actually the ZC comes out of the jdm 88-91 civic/crx si. The usdm 88-89 integra comes with the d16a1 which has less power than the jdm or edm zc or d16a8/a9. Any engine importer will know what you are looking for if you ask for a dohc zc motor. The ZC is dohc and has a black valve cover with the valve cover bolts on the outside of the cover. The d16a1 has a brown valve cover and is stamped d16a1 on the block stamp while the zc is stamped zc on the block stamp.
