unhooking odometer

Can someone please tell me the easiest way to unhook my odometer.
I know some can be done by unhooking the fuse to the speedometer but I'm not sure which fuse to pull, if it's even possible..

Personally I wouldn't do that if I were you because it is illegal and when you go to sale your car your mileage has to be public info to the person who is buying.

Hey, I got a question for you..You know what happened to the guy who drove the car in a bank robbery? It's rhetorical, no need to answer...My point is, I don't think anyone here feels comfortable aiding someone in criminal activity. The least you could do is give us a logical explanation as to why you want to do something that is considered illegal (if thats possible), and I am sure the people here will be willing to help you if it makes sense. I'm unhooking it for the obvious reason..I'm selling it soon and don't want to break the 100k mark. I probably won't be putting more than 3-4k more miles on it than are actually there.I'm sure no one has removed a catalytic converter or went over the speed limit.(also illegal)....Anyway, thought I might get some advise from you all.

kes02, you have really started out on the wrong foot here. I am going to go out on a limb and say that calling people dumbfuck and getting upset will not get the response you are looking for. Also, when you unhook Odometers, you are breaking Federal Laws, as oppossed to state speeding laws and emmisions laws. You logic was a little oversimplistic to say the least, it was like comparing murder to kicking someone's ass (which it sounds like most of the people who responded would like to do to you), they're simply not the same.

Well, obviousley I'm not too worried about the government chasing me down. My apologizies to anyone that has to read these posts besides the handfull of idiots that have respoded...
