C.E.S. pics (56K assasination)

i know i promissed these like a week ago....get over it, you'll live

i want to start off by saying HOLY SHIT! that was an incredible trip! i saw so many things, i dunno if i can even remember it all. who knows what happened on which day...so i'm just going to post the pics up as they unloaded from the camera

this truck we had seen on spike tv. was said over $20,000 was spent in just fitting the 24's to the truck. tooks these pics day 1....was able to meet/talk to the owner, steve, on the last day. he is hella cool

the truck has hand controls as Steve is in a wheelchair. that really hit home to us (R.I.P. KEVIN!)

disc brakes anybody?

a lot of places were strict about taking pics. signs posted everywhere saying no photos. but i snuck these 2 at MTX anyways

none of my other pics came out lenny davis was there all day playing video games that interior was insane. alligator, leather, and sude i do believe.

i don't even know where to start with this porche. lets just say, look the pics over real good or you'll miss something or another!

rear interior was also carbon fiber. it was really hard to get a pic so i'll try and describe the thing in the middle. they built up & around the audio equipment to look like an engine. at first glance it does, they pulled it off pretty good.

see the air dams in the rear corners? it had twin innercoolers...one behind each damn. and whats that in the middle.....

excuse me while i drool on myself, AGAIN

there were A LOT OF mini's. everybody had either an old or new one on display

amp in the door

another mini

clairon display with water running down the stuff. i think it's like their boat line or something

this one is for marked001...tucking tire

need for speed underground car

one of the really cool things about this trip was the VIP access. the shop owner does a lot of business for the small size of town we're in. so the reps would take us the VIP areas for free food and an open bar. i eneded up being really sick (shaddup brett, lol) so no drinking for me. what does all this have to do with pics? here are som cool pics i took from the kenwood VIP area which was above the kenwood display room. which = some cool pics

pop up monitor in the armrest. i think we saw that in the sony display room

ahhhh, the CRX. the owner was not there...the car was on loan for display, so they didn't know much about it. they had a hard time moving it because of the stage 4 clutch...we got that much outta the guy. the glasstop is not JDM...is a custom fit glass. the bodykit (so they were told) is 1 of a kind. i believe by Ground Designs

almost too much bling bling to see what the heck is going on under there.

mmmmm, white carbon fiber!

1 more shot of the bling..

unfortunatly on the last day i was running out of pic space on the digi so i only got 2 pics of this car. it was insane. it had 15 monitors alone on the underside of the car (including a monitor in each wheel well of the dirver's side) and it had (i say 1 giant, they say 5 smaller) a fishtank going on

if you're a photochopper, maybe you can blow this list up for all the mods. it is a crazy list!

if i didn't know there were humans inside...these "robots" would have traumatized me. this one...

was talking to the guy. as soon as i snapped the pic i caught his attention and he says "mmmmm, MILK!" and starts chasing after me then this one...

i saw (literally) across the hall. i was board at the booth we were at so i kinda spaced out watching the "robot" take pics with people. i dunno how but "she" saw me and started waving. i thought and walked over there to take a pic. as soon as i take the pic the robot starts making kissy sounds and playing love music. ummmm, okay. note to self: stay AWAY from human robots

that my friends is a GSport "GX20" crated engine.

can be yours for only $11,900
for the full specs & mods list go to www.gspot-online.com

okay, now here is the car you all have been waiting for. the new ALPINE car....

up close...

i'm gonna ease you guys into this car...it is truly a heart stopper

they shaved everything shut and cut the top off....

like the civic, it is also center drive

seat closed?

seat open?
grab your seats....

the seat is part of the backend which mechanically slides out!

a personal highlight for the trip was seeing the Pen & Teller show. greg (shop owner) was able to swing row M seats. when we got to the desk to pick up the tickets, they we gone. since the desk messed up the guy who was in charge switched our seats to row E (5th row). that kicked ass on so many levels. as soon as the show ends they go running out. you're kinda left there like when you get outside the theater they were standing there taking pics and autographing things. wheeeeeeee! here are our pics...

hi roger!

roger was one of the rep's that saw the show with us. he rules on all kinds of levels. don't let the suit and tie fool you. he was talking to us about his boat and his d series powerplant idea. you read that right! his has an a6 and he was asking us how to decrease the power down to dx level. me made him promise pics when it's running.

you don't have to go home...but you can't stay here
