Are there replacement lamps for 1500 series headlamps, that are brighter than factory? Or must I replace whole module? Any info is appreciated!

Re: '96 Sub. brighter headlights

Bulbs I bought some on Ebay that were supposed to be the High Intensity look alike lights, but the performance is marginal. I have found the blueish color is not helpful in the rain...otherwise they are OK. |

Re: '96 Sub. brighter headlights
Hey Dr. Eagle,
By searching under Silverado, I found that Sylvania makes brighter replacements. Here is link, if interested: http://www.sylvania.com/bin/carApp/c...hoe&x=23&y=3#1 If interested in other applications, use this link: http://www.sylvania.com/auto/carapp/ Other post also mentioned many are availble at Walmart, somewhat cheap in the <$40 range. I'll look in next week or so, and report my findings. Mike K. |

Re: '96 Sub. brighter headlights
Look at Jegs or Summitt speed shops. Painless Wiring makes a switch that allows all 4 lights to stay on when the brights come on. Instead of just the high beams staying on. About 30.00 and very easy to install
