Re: Civic Hatch B16 swap? Hard or not?

i would bet there are probly at least 50 topics about this if you searched.
but anyways.
you need.
b16 engine+trans+ecu
teg axles
modifyed shift linkage
hasport or the crappy motor mounts
good idea to change the timing belt, water pump,
plugs, wires, clutch any other gaskets. they have been sitting there for a while so its a good idea to change them. you'll have to do it soon or later.

Re: Civic Hatch B16 swap? Hard or not?

do a search within this forum or stop by www.4thGeneratinCivic.com in the engine section for links.

but seriously...if you feel like you might be flamed, try running a search first. one of the only things you will be flamed for around here is not doing a search first.

for some reason people don't like repling to the same things 500 million times, go figure lol

complete engine swap from HMO will come with everything you need.

you have to run four wires: vtec/oil pressure/knock/2nd 02. you will need to buy some mounts. i usually recommend hasport or hcp mounts. new linkage / new axles (90-93 integra usually). pr3 or pw0 obd0 ecu.

Re: Civic Hatch B16 swap? Hard or not?

its a fairly simple ordeal if your fairly mechanicaly inclined. took us one day to install our b16 and get it up n running properly(full day). its more or less a drop in ordeal with a bit of wiring and hammering as long as you have all the required parts to do so.
